Anxiety symptoms can negatively impact children’s academic functioning, social relationships, and ability to access support provided at school and at home. This talk will provide participants with an understanding of various types of anxiety and how these challenges interact with the symptoms of autism. Participants will learn to identify potential symptoms of anxiety in their child, learn strategies for helping to decrease their child’s anxiety, and help their children learn ways to improve overall coping skills.
