Oyster River ASD Friends to host Dr. Marguerite Genest as she presents: Building Skills for Life after High School

Dr. Genest will lead a discussion about the skill set needed for successful transition to post-secondary education and work. Topics include: Self-awareness and self advocacy, support systems at school, on the job and at home, social skills development: perspective taking, reciprocity, and establishing and maintaining friendships and collegial relationships and executive function skills: especially regarding cognitive flexibility and goal directed persistence.
