Stress and Health – Part 1

A recent poll revealed that more than 1 in every 4 Americans say they experienced a significant amount of stress in the previous month.  Yet that may represent a massive underestimate, as the poll only captured the stress people are conscious of.  This “hidden stress” affects the brain’s cognitive capacity, or the ability to process multiple sources of information, determine what to focus on, and make rapid decisions.   Read more to find out who’s stressed, what’s stressing people out, and how people typically respond to stress.
